Highland Lakes Crate Escape, Inc. is a licensed, bonded, and insured in-home pet care service. Our local, loving, and reliable pet sitting team allows you to keep your loved ones at home while you travel for the day or week, without the stress of a kennel or overnight boarding. Whether your plans take you away for a weekend getaway, extended vacation, or just a day trip to San Antonio, take along peace of mind and reassurance in knowing your loved ones are in their home and in the very best hands with Highland Lakes Crate Escape, Inc. Each of our services are customized to your pet's needs and all of our team members are local, mature, adult pet owners. We will spend quality time with your fur babies: petting, walking, play time, feeding, giving fresh water, treats, and cleaning their environment.
Why you should trust Highland Lakes Crate Escape: Mary Jo Callaway & Brenda Morris started this business because they know what it is like to board their own pets and they don't enjoy it. They wanted to provide people with an option. They consider their pets as family and know that is how they should be treated. Everyone has stories about sitters hired to stay in their homes and care for their pets who failed. Highland Lakes Crate Escape wants to ensure that doesn't happen to you or your pets. Our team will maintain your pet's normal diet, eliminate anxiety associated with boarding, decrease their exposure to illness, and give them the love and care they are used to!

Co-Owner Mary Jo is the Director of Business Administration for the Community Resource Centers of Texas. She is huge advocate for animal rescue and her love for animals is evident with each one she meets. She recently lost her beloved Boomer who she rescued 10 years ago - he lived the perfect life including going to work with Mary Jo everyday.
Co-owner, Brenda Morris, owner of Restorative Skin Care, has been a pet owner and animal advocate all her life. From hermit crabs to dogs, every living creature that arrived at her house was welcomed and loved. For the last 20 years, cats and dogs fortunate enough to live with Brenda and her family were rescues, volunteers, and strays. Currently, Luna, Pepper, Tailing, and Sookie are all rescues and family members.

Meet team member Lorie. She loves to restore and refurbish mid-century modern furniture. She enjoys it so much that she made it a career and hobby later in life. Family is and has always been the most important aspect of life, and this shows in how Lorie raised her three beautiful children. She spends countless hours going on walks, playing with her kitties (Tucker & Grey), and watching HGTV. Lorie has a great love for all animals and she looks forward to caring for your fur babies as well.
Meet team member Alex. She was born in Llano and raised in Marble Falls. Alex moved to Kerrville for a few years, but came back home in 2016. She loves spending her time with the family: her husband of 14 years, their son who is 6, and their pup Milo, who is 3. In her off time, she enjoys the outdoors and reading. Alex is ready to meet your furry family and show them some love! Maybe even read them a book or two.
Meet team member Amanda. She grew up in Marble Falls, Texas. Her younger years were spent riding horses and helping her grandmother on their family's ranch. Amanda has a son who is 21 and a daughter who is a senior in high school. She has had many dogs and cats, throughout her life, but currently has a long haired weenie dog and a Heinz 57 rescue. Amanda also has a 15 year old cat, and a 2 year old cat that was part of a litter that she bottle raised by hand. She can't wait to get to know your furry family as well.
